USNAPER Privacy policy

USNAPER is a photographing brokerage service provided by USNAPER Korea Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter called "The company"), and we value personal information of users and do our best to protect personal information of users. USNAPER complies with privacy policy and privacy guidelines on privacy laws like 「Communications Privacy Act」, 「Telecommunications Business Act」, 「Act on promotion of information and communications network utilization and information」, 「privacy protection act」. In addition, legislated privacy policy is informed on the site of USNAPER (www.usnaper.com, hereinafter called "Site") to notify users of what measures are being taken in securing for their privacy, thereby assuring the users with guaranteed right. Privacy policy of USNAPER contains the following contents.

The company guides users for privacy policy and agreement utilization and if the user agrees, the user may click on the "I agree" check box to express consent, and once the user has clicked on the "I agree" check box, will be deemed acceptance of the personal information collected.

The Company only collects necessary information for providing basic service, and request further agreement from the user when collecting information to provide service that suits user's need and preference. The user does not have limited access to our services even without entering the selected information. Nevertheless, the information collected even with prior consent from user will not be used for other purpose other than the stated purpose and will remain confidential. 4. 개인정보의 수집 방법

The company collects personal information through registration process, consultation process, events or giveaway and also collects personal information through generated information collecting tools when using mobile phones and wired/wireless internet service (Cookie).


5. 개인정보의 보유 및 이용기간

The company receives and stores personal information during the period of notice and consent. In addition, the company will delete all personal data when: the company has collected necessary user information; the period of information-storing has expired; the user withdraws from the company’s rights to collect personal information. However, the company preserves the following relevant information due to the following reasons.

C. Expiration terms of storing of personal and information required for restoring dormant account
When a user has remained dormant of the service for 18 months, based on the article 29 of 「the law regarding the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information」the personal information of the user will be distinctively stored with prior notice. However, personal information may be stored in the specified period of related law, if necessary.


6. 수집한 개인정보의 이용 및 제3자제공

The company uses personal information only for the range specified for the use and collection in privacy policy, but does not exceed this range or provide the information to others, other companies, or other institutions, without the consent of the user or by the enforcement of law. In addition, when the contract of brokerage service has been made between the user and the photographer, the company shall provide both sides with the necessary information in order to perform the service.


7. 개인정보의 열람 및 정정

The user can view or correct registered personal information at any time. “membership withdrawal” Personal information can be instantly read and/or corrected in the “membership information change” menu. In addition, you may call or write an e-mail to the privacy office to request for a correction in your member information, and we will take action immediately. When a user request correction of error of personal information, the company will neither use nor provide related personal information until the correction is completed. 8. 개인정보의 수집·이용·제공에 대한 동의철회

The user may withdraw from consent on the collection, use, and provision of personal information through registration. The user can withdraw from membership through "Membership withdrawal" on the menu or by calling or writing an e-mail to the privacy officer, which the company will take immediate action. When the withdrawing of membership has been finalized, the company will notify the user about the deleted personal information without delay. However, if and when a constant withdrawing and rejoining of the membership is caught on guard – in the purpose of benefiting from events, discount coupons, economic interests by the illegal use of other’s ID – the company will restrict the member from signing up.

The company will delete personal information after its use has been made based on the retention period. Deleting procedures, methods and timing are as follows:
A. Deleting process and timing
When the user requests for service withdrawal, personal information entered during registration will be deleted and terminally removed after the retention period in accordance with internal policy and other related Privacy Act (see the above personal information retention and period of utilization). Generally, personal information collected during registration will be deleted when the user withdraws from membership.
B. Deleting methods
Printed personal information will be shredded; destroyed by incineration; or with the use of chemicals, and electronic files shall be terminally removed in the way that cannot be reproduced again.

The company protects the privacy of children, and only permit memberships to users over the age of 14 to prevent trading of minors who are restricted by law, so the company does not collect personal information of children.


11. 개인정보 취급 업무의 위탁

The company consigns the managing of privacy to an external specialist for the betterment business conduction such as provision of basic service, provision of better service, convenience for user as follows. The company defines compliance with privacy laws, maintains secret about personal information, prohibits the provision of personal information to the third party, takes responsibility to the accidents, obligates the return or removal of personal information after termination of processing through consignment work contract and manages to keep the terms

12. 개인정보 취급방침의 고지 또는 통지방법

If the company wishes to use or provide personal information to the third party, which the user has not agreed upon, the company shall notify the user via letter, e-mail, or phone call to get an additional consent.
Also, when consigning collection, storage, process, utilization, provision, management, destruction of personal information, the company needs to notify the user to get the consent through joining screen, terms of service, Privacy policy in the web site.
When the company transfers its rights and obligations a part of sales or whole part of sales because of mergers or inheritance, etc. the company needs to notify the users individually via letter or email and at the same time, the company needs to specify and make people identify that facts easily on the main screen of the web site for more than 30 days.

① The company limits minimum staffs to have access to users’ personal information and the equivalent personnel are as follows.

ㆍThose who perform management task of personal information such as privacy officer and person who is in charge.
ㆍThose who perform management task of personal information such as privacy officer and person who is in charge.
② The company prepared necessary process for management of personal information of users and its access and observing if the staffs are well-informed. Also we implement outsourcing training and regular in-house training targeted for employees who handle personal information about privacy obligations
③ Work transition of handlers of personal information are done thoroughly under security maintenance and clearly investigate responsibility about incidents of personal incident after leaving and joining the company.
④ The company requires newly hired employees to sign a written oath of information protection or privacy written oath for prior prevention of information leakage, and continuously works to implement internal compliance of privacy.
⑤ The company requires employees who handle user’s personal information to sign the confidential agreement when resigning to prevent any damage or violation of personal information.
⑥ Set the computer room and data storage room as special protection areas and limit access in those areas.
⑦ When processing user's personal information using computer, assign a staff who has access authority and give an identification code (ID) and password, and update the password regularly.
⑧ When collecting or providing user's credit card number, request the user to verify his/her identity.

⑨ When user's personal information is lost, leaked, falsified, damaged, due to managing within the company or incident of technical management, the company must notify this fact to the user and shall provide appropriate measures and compensation.

The company can provide web site of other company or link about the data to the users. In this case, the company does not guarantee nor take responsibility for truthfulness and usefulness of service and data that is provided by that site because the company does not have any control over external website. When you click the link from USNAPER and move to a different website, you need to review the polity of the newly visited site because the privacy policy of that company is unrelated to ours.


15. 게시물

The company cherishes the post that our users have uploaded and do our best to protect from any damages or deletion. In addition, the user is responsible for the information that he/she writes on posts. Information that is disclosed through uploaded posts are difficult to be protected, hence we ask you to be mindful to what is being posted prior to posting in public. Nonetheless, the company may take certain measures of the post on certain cases as follows:
A. Post that can be deleted or blocked by the policy
① spam post (example: chain letters, advertisements for certain sites, advertisements and links to other sites, etc.)
② Spreads false information with purpose to slandering others and defamation
③ Usage of other identities without consent, copyright of the company, or infringe intellectual property rights of the third party, posts that are not relevant to the board.
B. Measures for the posts
① When the company finds a post that uses the identities of others without consent, the company can delete or republish an edited post with symbols.
② Posts required to be blocked or deleted in accordance with the relevant law, shall be taken measures in accordance with the utilization policy.
③ Detailed rules for the post will be followed using the utilization policy.


16. 광고성 정보 전송

The company does not transmit commercial-purpose information without prior consent. But, when a user has directly collected other user's contact by trading goods, and transmits commercial information for profit-making purpose of same goods he traded with the other user before can be transmitted in 6 months without prior consent by the article 50 of 「the law regarding the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information」. Also, when the users expressed that he doesn't want to receive the information, or when the user withdraws from the prior consent, the company shall not transmit commercial-purpose information to the user.


17. 개인정보 자동수집장치의 설치·운영 및 그 거부에 대한 사항

The company can install and manage cookie that saves user's information and frequently find the service provided by the company. Cookie strings information that web server saves in the web browser and transmits it back to the server. When a user connects to the company's site, the company reads the cookie and finds additional information to provide relevant service to the user.

In the menu of "Tools> Internet Options> Privacy> Advanced", accept all cookies or notify when a cookie is installing, or reject all cookies. However, if the user denies installing the cookie, inconveniences may occur when using the service. Cookie expires when the user signs out or when the browser is closed.


18. 안전한 인터넷 사용을 위한 이용자 지침

The Company is not responsible for personal mistakes and with basic internet occurrences. Users are responsible for the protection of their own privacy and have the duty to not infringe on other’s information. Check out for the instructions for safe internet use.
A. Keep the newest personal information
Enter accurately user's newest personal information to receive notification that the company delivered. The company shall not be responsible for the damage caused by incorrect information entered or not having updated the latest information.
B. Management of ID and Password
We recommend you to create a sophisticated password and to change the it periodically.
C. Avoid using common PC
When connected in a shared PC, you must sign-out before closing the browser. Otherwise, user's identity information (ID) and password (Password) can be easily leaked to other users.
D. Protect the rights of others
Please pay special attention to not to destroy other's personal information, not to infringe on the rights of others, including posts. If you are unable to fulfill such responsibilities, and destroy other's personal information, you may be punished by 「the law regarding the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information」, 「Privacy Act」

20. 고지 의무

Current privacy policy was enacted on March 17, 2016, and if necessary to delete or modify the privacy policy depending on the change of government policy or change of security technology, general information will be published in the web site at least 7 days before and important information will be published in the web site at least 30 days before.
